Fibre Broadband
Over recent month British Telecom (BT) have been upgrading their network in Woodford to not only be in a position to transfer telephone services to "digital voice" in the near future but also to be able to offer a fibre broadband service. New service boxes have been installed at the top of many of the telegraph poles and these have notices on the advising that they are fibre enabled.
Since early October City Fibre, working for Project Gigabit have started installing a separate fibre network which will be used by other Broadband providers such as Vodaphone and Sky, to name but two. Further details can be found by following this link. Fibre Broadband.
